Your privacy is important to us

The Uwego Privacy Policy below outlines how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information.

Terrapages [ABN 67 103 677 247] and its related companies, including Airbike [ABN 64 617 542 444] and its related product, including Uwego (collectively, “Uwego”, “we”, “us”), are committed to protecting the privacy of registered customers. Uwego abides by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The APPs regulate the way certain entities handle personal information.

At Uwego, we respect your privacy and the trust you have placed in us by using Uwego.

Uwego does not collect any identifiable information about you or your travel patterns. However, it sends information over the Internet to Uwego’s servers to retrieve real-time information, potentially including the point you wish to travel from, and we are mindful that such information can be both sensitive and private.

We want to be transparent about how we treat your information.

With that in mind, here is our simple, transparent privacy policy:

What we won’t do
  • We will never collect or transfer information about your identity unless you deliberately share it with us.
  • We will never associate your location or use of the app with your identity
  • We will never share any information collected about users with third parties unless compelled to do so under New South Wales law
  • We will never attempt to identify users based on any information we do collect
What we will do

 1. Relating to User Information

Uwego collects users’ data when they create accounts on our mobile application. The user must provide us with their name, email address or mobile phone to create an account. This information is mandatory, and we are only able to deliver the services if this is provided.

 2. Relating to Data Transparency

Uwego acquires Facebook and Google customers’ login data, including ID, name and email from customers for this function.

In case customers wish to delete their accounts (including personal data like name, email or phone number) entirely from our database, they can navigate to the app menu on the Profile page and click on the “Delete Account” button at the bottom right of the screen.

If customers have trouble acting, kindly email us at or call us at (02) 9009 5022 with the mentioned Uwego app issue. We would respond within 3 business days and proceed as customers advise.

 3. Other rules we follow to develop the Uwego app

  • We will endeavour to encrypt all communications sent over the Internet that may contain sensitive information.
  • We may store records relating to requests sent to our servers, including stops you have added and your destination suburb for server monitoring and diagnostics.
  • We may collect aggregate non-identifiable statistics on the use of Uwego, including but not limited to the most commonly requested data, how often the app is used, the number of active users and the number of requests sent to our servers.
  • We may securely share anonymous location information with Google Maps for the purpose of determining new roads and traffic conditions. You may opt out of this data collection at any time without penalty.
